Where does time go?

Whew~ the seasons are upon us...

after the first week of October is over it seems that you can't blink your eyes or else you will miss Christmas. So I have started making all my Christmas cards and holiday decor. I am preparing my shopping list, which will be short because I intend to hand make all the presents this year this year I vow to be right on top of things. No way I will be rushing back & forth as I did these past two Christmases ago.

Getting back on track...

WOW it has been a long time since my last post, which I recall being very determined to keep up my post/ramblings NOT, but I have arrived anew and ready to post everyday. I guess I needed some time to find my new place in this world, because I was feeling a little lost and confused. So many things have happened happy & sad things, but it all has made my little family stronger. My illness was so unexpected It caught us all by surprise. My husband and children have been so supportive I love them all madly. Every time I think of causing them sadness it breaks my heart and makes me work harder on staying well and following doctors orders to the letter. Another thing was that it made me appreciate my family more and all the things that come with a family, which by the way has grown by three. My daughter brought a house in another town which I had mixed feelings about, I mean I was so happy for them, it’s a lovely house in a picturesque neighborhood. But I knew that I was going to miss them more then words can say. My grand daughter has gotten so tall in this past year that she passed her mom as her mom did me, how funny.
Lets see, well I have made many friends in the crafting world, very nice giving artist who love their craft as much as they love to share it. How fortunate I have been. I have learned many things. I can’t wait to show you! I’ll be back tomorrow~

I have left the procrastination station and I am so ready to get busy. I have a great group of scrappy friends. Whom inspire and challenge me every day. I have completed several projects that I will be posting very soon.

WOW! i haven't written anything in weeks- i have perused briefly over some of the blogs that i enjoy - just so that i can stay in touch with everything. i will post new stuff/photos at the end of the week.

Meet Pamela Iobst from Pamela Iobst designs- what a gracious lady on top of being very creative & talented- i wish i had taken more pictures of her creations- but i became so involved in open discussion about her creations. but i did manage this and some contact info- enjoy !

Pamela explained that this is dichroic glass? huh? I had heard it mentioned before but Pamela was kind enough to explain the process that this stone undergoes and the process which she uses to make these beautiful creations. The stones on the white torso and the black torso are all the same color white, but when placed over other colors they change to reflect the color they are next to-
