Felting wool sweaters to make handbags

grey and red sweaters. I lined inside with an vintage black/red dress

this one was a blue 100 % wool

 I hot water washed and dried them several times until i felt happy with the texture

I made the flowers out of the same sweater

I made 2 fun floppy handbags

this is how I can it. I cut up the inside of the sweater all the way to the underarm and then the length of the inseam of the arm.

I cut both sides and the main part of the sweater is the one closes to you

these are the bag straps

I cut a couple of circles to make the flowers that adorn the outside of the bag

that is 1 of 2 flowers I attached
